FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Finding Your Next Space
Q: How do you ensure the property I am buying is genuine?

A: We conduct rigorous due diligence using the Ardhisasa platform to verify the title’s authenticity. We also perform physical site visits with surveyors to confirm boundaries and check for any “encumbrances” or caveats at the Ministry of Lands to protect you from “double allocation” scams.

Q: Is it safe to buy property I see online?

A: We always recommend a physical visit. Our team goes a step further by doing a “search” at the Land Registry (using the Ardhisasa system) to make sure the person selling the house is the real owner and the title is genuine. We make sure you don’t lose your money to scams.

Q: How do I start looking for a house or office with you?

A: It’s simple! Just tell us what you’re looking for, your budget, the neighborhood you prefer (like Westlands, Kilimani, or Karen), and how many rooms you need. We’ll do the legwork, find the best matches, and take you to see them in person.

Q: What extra costs should I plan for besides the buying price?

A: In Nairobi, you should set aside some extra money for government taxes (Stamp Duty), lawyer fees, and a small fee for a professional to value the property. We’ll give you a simple breakdown of these costs early on so there are no surprises.

Building & Renovations
Q: Can you help me build a house from scratch?

A: Yes, from the very first stone to the final coat of paint. We handle the design, find the right materials, and manage the workers. We also make sure the “City Council” (Nairobi County) and the NCA approve the plans so your building is 100% legal.

Q: How long does it take to build a standard house in Nairobi?

A: While every project is different, a standard family home usually takes between 7 to 12 months to finish. We’ll give you a clear schedule before we start and send you weekly photos and videos so you can see the progress without having to visit the site every day.

Special Services (Diaspora & Local)
Q: I live abroad. Can you build or buy a house for me while I’m away?

A: Yes, many of our clients are in the Diaspora. We act as your “eyes and ears” on the ground. We use secure payment steps and send regular digital updates so you can build your home in Kenya with total peace of mind.

Q: Do you help with the "Sectional Title" for apartments?

A: Yes! If you are buying an apartment, we ensure you get your own individual title deed (Sectional Title) as required by the new laws. This proves you own your specific unit and makes it much easier to sell or use as security for a loan later.
